They are already here, they have just opened the inscriptions for the free guided visits to the Retiro and the Paseo del Prado that the Madrid City Council is launching to show its support for the UNESCO World Heritage Cultural Landscape candidacy of these enclaves.
The initiative will be operational from May 3 to October, and visits will take place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 5:00 p.m.
In total, six months will be given for 146 visits with a capacity of 20 people in each. That is, 2, 920 places.
The duration of these tours will be one hour in the case of those who pass through the Paseo del Prado and two hours for those of the Retiro Park.
The Apollo Fountain will be the meeting point for those who opt for the first option and the Felipe IV Gate of the Retiro Park, if you are one of those who prefer the second. No one has said to choose. You can try to get your place for both visits. Mind you, run because they fly.
