Reading time 2 minutes

There is a place in the heart of Barcelona that more than a restaurant could be a hiding place or a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city where you can recharge batteries and feed yourself well. Beluga Bar & Kitchen is breakfast, work lunch, snack (oh, what homemade cakes !), Brunch or dinner in full color and with Mediterranean fusion cuisine as the main course.

Mayka Torres is the thinking and executive head of this Art Deco bet with tropical and Parisian touches on the Gran Vía of Barcelona, between Rambla Catalunya and Paseo de Gracia . Beluga has that retro style that may well remind of the classic Parisian coffees of the 70s, with vegetal and geometric inspiration.

And sitting well in one of its pink and green armchairs, one can rediscover some of the classics of Mediterranean cuisine that are so appealing at any time of the day.

This is an especially generous proposal in tapas where there are no missing croquettes of ceps, prawns with mezcal, which are delicious, potato omelette and spinach, which melts on the palate, bluefin tuna tartare ; And a whole surprise, their salads. For example, the endive salad with peach, cherry, goat cheese crumble and beet vinaigrette. All with fresh ingredients and proximity.
