George and Angela Hensler are a couple from San Francisco in love with kite surfing whose dreams were fulfilled when they found a 40-year-old plantation for sale on Maui . They bought it, renovated it and turned one of the two original cabins into a holiday rental residence and that is how Beach Cottage Maui was born (the other one, if you were wondering, they kept it).

Surrounded by centuries-old trees and a wild and tropical garden, the facade of the house has been painted a dark green that promotes continuity between exterior and interior that is breathed throughout the house.

The enjoyment is guaranteed inside (with French midcentury pieces very well combined with contemporary design) and outside: both the beach and the city of Paia are within walking distance, in case for some strange reason you want to leave paradise .
